 Rebecca Sievert

carpentry specialist

Ms. Rebecca is originally from Burbank, California. She lived in New York and was a full-time volunteer for six years serving an international educational nonprofit organization. Rebecca also lived in Taiwan where she worked as a volunteer and English teacher. She is fluent in English, Spanish, and conversational French and Chinese. She is the co-owner of a video production company. In addition, Rebecca worked as a certified EMT for four years. Later, she worked at Banner Desert Medical as a Spanish interpreter.

Rebecca has found tremendous joy in developing and managing our five-acre Creo Farm Campus. She is the resident expert on all the lively and fun barn animals we are raising and supports the development of our micro-economies. Rebecca is a skilled and talented carpenter, having built many of our distinct and unique Creo School Campus features such as our lobby library nook. She has been working with wood for 15 years and enjoys sharing her passion with eager young minds through work with their hands. She values the mathematical density, creativity, preciseness and pride that carpentry fosters in our students.

Rebecca is married and has two children at Creo. She has loved watching them blossom into independent, articulate, and enthusiastic learners through their experience in our bilingual Montessori environments. Her and her husband are committed to this beautiful and authentic Montessori community.
