“In today’s world, everyone needs to be entrepreneurial. Not entrepreneurial in the sense of starting a for-profit business but in the sense of fighting tirelessly to improve your world through your skills, passions, perseverance, audacity, and community support. It’s the essence of our humanity—to create, to invent, to make our world better. Giving students and teachers the support and permission to be creative and entrepreneurial isn’t optional in the twenty-first century—it’s indispensable.”
This program will prepare and maintain a rich learning environment that will nurture an authentic community of adolescents and assist them in their journey to becoming:
Adaptable to the diverse experiences, opportunities, and demands of life in the 21st century
Confident in themselves as unique individuals who can actively contribute to family, community, and society
Independent in their ability to manage themselves and their personal responsibilities
Interdependent, aware of the important connections between humans and the natural world and of the important connections between diverse peoples that help mankind progress together into a more peaceful future
Self-Directed and capable of engaging in work and study without prompt or reward
Ethical in all the decisions they make each day
Creative in their approach to self expression and problem-solving
Intelligent through their love of life-long learning about all aspects of the world around them
Empathetic and unbiased toward others; always willing to serve with an open heart
Healthy in mind, body, and spirit and equipped with the skills to maintain health throughout their life
Happy and content with the life they lead now and ready for the life they will lead in adult society
Creo’s bilingual Adolescent program involves hands-on learning accompanying their scholastic learning emphasizing zoology and agricultural studies. Adolescent students learn how to create and sustain a working micro-economy. This instills responsibility as well as present opportunities to take the knowledge that students gain in the classroom by applying it in the environment around them.
As respected community members, it is important for each student to learn to do their part and contribute in a way that earns trust and companionship of their peers. Therefore, Creo Adolescent students work cohesively to overcome obstacles, learn from each other, and drive to meet common goals while expressing individuality. Our students start small businesses, design inventions and file patents, develop software programs, or performances through play write, designing their own costumes and scenes, casting roles and acting.
‘Going-outs’ also pose integral education experiences for our learners, with organized tours of manufacturing plants, museum visits, hiking adventures, geological based science experiments, as well as local, national, and international community service initiatives.
The Creo Farm campus is also strategically located near Arizona State University, Gilbert/Chandler Community College and EVIT. High School students are able to take college classes to complete undergraduate credits prior to graduation. High School students are supported, gaining a head start in their fields of interest with counsel from our highly qualified educators.
