Campus garden specialist

Ms. Laura is originally from a small ranching community in Northern Utah. She moved to Arizona shortly after graduating from Utah State University with a Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology. After working for several years in a variety of school settings from preschool to high school, she decided to take a break from her career to spend time at home with her four children, all of whom attend Creo.

Ms. Laura spent many hours of her childhood helping in her family garden. After moving to Arizona, she discovered that gardening here was far more challenging! She loves researching about the different plants that can be grown in Arizona. She enjoys working with kids and is very excited to share her passion for gardening with others.

When Ms. Laura is not busy taking care of her kids and garden, she enjoys reading and spending time outside. Her and her husband keep their family busy with camping, biking, hiking, and exploring Arizona.
