Marcela attended the Universidad Iberoamericana and the Center of Studies of Montessori Education in Torreón, Mexico where she earned her Children's House diploma in 1995. In 1998, she also received an AMS diploma in Chicago, Illinois, prior to moving to Arizona and an AMI Children’s House diploma from the Southwest Institute of Montessori Studies in Arizona in 2022.  Marcela joined Creo in 2016 with over 20 years of Montessori Lead Teacher experience in both AMI and AMS schools; she is also fluent in English and Spanish. Outside of school, Ms. Marcela can be found spending quality time with her husband and children. She loves going to the beach, attend baseball games, and go for walks with her family.
